We often facilitate free guided walks in nature to offer the opportunity for people to explore local woodlands and green spaces within a safe environment.
Social connections and educating how important nature is to our overall wellbeing are some of the main reasons these continue to be important opportunities for people in the community.
We vary the difficultly of our walks to make sure they are accessible for all ages & abilities.
There are some mindful activities we like to include during our walks to give the participants a taste of how deepening a connection to nature can improve our mental health.
These include;
(focusing on our senses as we feel and listen to nature)
(collecting fallen natural items and decorating a stick)
(discovering all the sounds on a nature bingo sheet)
We facilitate these walks all year round which is vital to reap the benefits that nature give us throughout all the seasons.
We have also hosted night walks which offer a different perspective of exploring nature in the dark. Alternative sounds in a peaceful setting,
with very likely no other people around, gives us a unique moment in nature we get to experience with the safety of others.
Some of the locations we have visited so far are;
Suitable for groups of any size and can be part of a corporate, school or charity organisation.
Please get in touch to organise customising a bespoke walk for your needs & keep a look out on our socials for our next organised walk.
